Discover, Develop, and Deploy (Your Divine Fingerprint by Pastor Keith Craft)

"Development requires desire, determination and dedication. Only you can develop the gifts that you have been given". ~Keith Craft

Welcome to the Keto Mom page, my name is Stephanie. We're going through "Your Divine Fingerprint" by Pastor Keith Craft. We go through books in the morning or talk about mindset.

You can also go to ketomomsecrets.com and click on recipes for anything that you need. You can click on tips to get started or check out the Book club. Right now, we're going through the book called "Your Divine Fingerprint".

The point of this book is to figure out what your 1% factor is.

  • What are the gifts and talents inside of you?

  • Who are you that God created you to be?

  • What are the things you are called to do but are not doing?

  • What are the things that you're longing to do?

I'm not reading the entire book to you, but we're going to go through it slowly. I'm going to give you some highlights to help you on your journey. You might wonder what this has to do with your fat loss. I actually believe that it has everything to do with your fat loss. If your goal this year is to feel better, get healthier, feel stronger, and lose some weight, then you have to work on your mindset.

If you don't truly tap into your greatness, and go after the things that are inside of you, or called to do, then I honestly don't believe that you're going to hit your health goals. Or you might hit the goal, but you might easily fall off the wagon and then gain all the weight back. It's a vicious cycle.

The missing key that most people are not doing is understanding the power of their mindset. Reading, learning, and continuing to grow your mindset are super important.

DISCOVER DEVELOP DEPLOY

We're going to talk about how to discover, develop and deploy your 1% factor, or your fingerprint. Nobody else has the same fingerprint as you, which means there are gifts and talents inside of you that only you can do. Things that only you were called to do on this earth, people you're called to touch, serve, or help.

There are things that only you can do, but you have to believe them first. You have to believe that you've got greatness inside of you, otherwise, the rest of it isn't going to work.

"Development requires desire, determination and dedication. Only you can develop the gifts that you have been given".

I hope that as you go throughout your day, you have something to think about or to ponder. That you realize that you do have greatness inside of you. You do have things you want to work on, and that sparks something inside of you.

GIFTS AND TALENTS

What am I truly gifted at? If you don't honestly know, then this is a great question to ask your spouse, best friend, parent, or other people around you.

  • What am I?

  • What are my natural talents?

  • What are my talents that can help other people enjoy there's?

  • What am I truly gifted at?

Those are the things you should ask yourself because those are the things you're going to take action on. All I need you to do is ask yourself what things you do that come naturally.

  • My sister does makeup naturally.

  • My friend Lindsey is incredible with numbers.

  • Our oldest daughter is naturally gifted at doing hair and makeup.

  • Our second daughter Emery has got so much empathy, she's a servant.

  • Our third daughter, Eliza is focused and determined. If you tell her to do something, she's going to get it done and she is very outspoken.

  • Our youngest daughter Annie is pure joy, funny, and outgoing, and she just brings joy to the atmosphere she walks in.

They all have so many things that we know that God has given to them. If you're a parent, watch your kids and the things that come naturally to them, so that you can pull them out, develop, discover, and deploy them quickly.

Often we think we have to work on our weaknesses when in reality we should be operating at the highest level on the things that we are good at and the things that come naturally. You can always work on becoming better.

Why do we try to spend so much time on the things that we're not gifted at?

You can make friends with those people who are good at the things you're not. My husband and I are complete opposites, but if we work better together we then realize each other's strengths and we become better together. That's the point of your family, friends, and the people that you're around. Figuring out what they're good at, coming together, and making things great.

There should never be a comparison between any four of our girls because God has gifted them with such great talents and great abilities. If they can figure out what their talents are, as they get older they can work together and become unstoppable.

The problem is when you're just constantly looking at other people, comparing and wishing you had their gifts. You can easily go down the route of comparison, which, therefore, throws your own gifts and talents on the back burner. You're comparing, you're jealous, and you're envious. There's no reason for that because all of you have gifts and talents that are all different.

Come together and work together. That's all up to you, do it together with your family, spouse, kids, co-workers, and friends.

What do you come next?

What are you naturally good at?

What do you enjoy doing?

What would you do if time was never an issue?

What fulfills you?

What do you excel at?

What comes really hard to you?

What do you actually despise doing?

What do you hate doing?

Just give yourself a little bit of time. Think about the things that you love to do, or pick the things you do not like to do. I'm not going to spend time making those things better. Why should I take a class to decorate a home, when my sister can do it for me? Find the people that are great at those things, and become friends with them, hire them, or work with them.

"Your vision is the picture of your future, of what you want. Vision drives passion".

We have to figure out your gifts and talents. We're going to develop them and we're going to deploy them. We say knowledge is power. But it's not power if you don't deploy or take action. Knowledge is power when applied. That's the deployment.

"Discover, Develop, Deploy"

It all comes down to action, so please put what you learned into action. It's not going to serve you or anybody else, if you're learning but deploying what you've learned or not putting it into action, then it won't work.

"I've never met a person who set their sights on becoming a failure".

I've never heard anyone say, "I want to fail". The only way you fail is if you quit. So we're going to discover what your gifts are, and dive into deploying them and taking action. We're going to go through this entire book and learn about your core values. This is really all about you, discovering yourself, and taking action on who you are so that you can give it to other people.

If you are sitting there and you don't work on your own mindset, you're not listening to good podcasts, and you're not learning from others, then it's not going to work. If you don't give yourself a little bit of space and time, then you're really going to fail.

It's human nature to want a higher level in life, it's human nature to want to be great. We just have to figure out if we're going to take action. I really just want you to start thinking about the gifts and talents that you have.

"Some people don't know how to take action, to take their lives to the next level. They have fear of failure, fear of success, fear of change, complacency or insecurity, lack of commitment, and not knowing what they really want to do. Most importantly, not knowing who they are".

"These are very real kill factors that kill your 1% X factor or you're 1% better. In other cases, the failure is due to lack of belief in oneself, and therefore they lack taking action".

We're going to get you to believe in yourself. Not in a selfish way, but figuring out what you're great at so you can add value to other people. It's not for selfish reasons, it's to add value to other people, and they'll do the same for you.

It's our job to believe, and then it's God's job to do the impossible.

If you feel like you don't know how you're going to learn to take action, then we're going to do it together. Today, your action step is to just simply sit and write down the things that you're good at, or the things that you don't love to do.

Figure out what you're good at, and what you have a passion for, and start writing it down. It's not going to be overnight because these things take some time. It's going to take some time to discover, develop and deploy it. But what happens if you actually gave it a year, then one year from now you could be operating in those gifts and talents that not only add value to your other people's lives but yours as well.

We'll start chapter three tomorrow. I truly appreciate you, your presence matters. We're going to work on your mindset together. That's what the mornings are about. So thank you for tuning in. Have a great day and I'll see you next time. Bye, everybody!
