Impacts Of Stress On Your Life

"I come home, I sit in the driveway and I don't want to go inside because I know my wife needs my help. Because I have two rambunctious sons. When I walk in, I've got to be a different role. I'm feeling stressed and I don't know how to prioritize my energy. It's the life that I wanted, but it's and it's affecting my whole body". ~Carey Nieuwhof

Welcome to the Keto Mom page. My name is Stephanie, and we're going to dive into the conversation of "Stress".

There's a book that I had borrowed from a friend, and she has actually heard the author speak at a conference. So I want to see if this is something that pertains to you.

We do talk about keto, ketones, low carb food, how to eat, and all these keto recipes. But I feel like one of the most important thing is your mindset.
Most people underestimate certain things that truly play an impact on their fat loss.

They just want to lose some fat right away, but they don't want to pay attention to other important things like, how much sleep they're getting or not getting.

𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘀.
That includes your environment and the people you're around with. All of these things play a factor in your fat loss.

I truly want to know what would serve you and would benefit you?

I want you to rate your stress level right now, if you feel stressed. From 1 to 10...

  • 1 = "Yes, I'm stressed, and I'm in survival mode".

  • 10 = "Nope, I feel incredible and I feel great".

1 Surviving and 10 Thriving. Where are you at?

I've done a lot of different books here. We've done that gave us a 123 step process of how to set goals and achieve them. So do you want to go through a book that gives you a 123 step process of how to achieve your goals? Here's a book that my friend gave me, and it's called "At Your Best" by Carey Nieuwhof.

I'm going to give you an overview of what the book is about. It talks about stress and the author said "Many people are overwhelmed, overcommitted, and overworked to doing exactly what they thought they wanted to do with their lives".

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂?

He talked about stress, where your energy goes, and how most of us are living the life that we imagined. You maybe have the job that you wanted, the kids, the house, and yet you're stressed to the max. He talked about the different formulas and different things to grow in.

"The most prosperous people who have ever lived, have made their lives about survival. Too many people build their lives, and they want to escape from them".

So he talked about what stress does, he will help you prioritize things, and balance out your time. He talked about the power of how most people have a certain amount of time in their day where they are the most effective and their energy levels are at its peak. His ultimate goal is to help you manage your life, understand where stressors are coming from, and where your energy levels work for you.

Are you stressed?
Do you feel like you're stressed out?

If you would have asked me this question in 2019, I would have said, "I'm at an all time low. But when you're living in this state of stress for a certain period of time, two years for me and my husband. It was due to environment, circumstance, and a fast paced life that we chose to sit in.

𝗜𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿.
As a woman, my hormones were out of whack for two years until I finally reached out to have somebody help me. We realized it was due to stress.

We did a lot of different things, switched environments and, combed life down. Stress plays a factor in your fat loss. Stress affects your body, and everybody's different.

Today, if I rate my stress levels, I'm not at a 1, 2, or 3. I don't know if anybody can be a perfect 10, but I'm between 8 and 10. We've got a peaceful life, we've chosen different environments, different friends, and we don't say yes to everything.

In fact, I said no to something last month that in the business world, I should have said yes to. But since it didn't meet up with the priorities of our family, I said "No".

Anyways, I really want to help and serve what you need. If you feel like this book would be a benefit, please let me know so we can go through it together. I will go through the book chapter by chapter, and give you the highlights.

If you feel like working on stress, prioritizing your energy, and using it effectively, let me know. But if most people feel like stress isn't affecting them, then I'm not going to go through it.

"𝗔𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁" 𝗯𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗡𝗶𝗲𝘂𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗳

Because I really don't feel like I need this book, but I'm sure I could still benefit from it. You can learn from anything. If you have a different option, share it with me. So stress is a thing in your life where you feel overwhelmed, and the author talked about his life.

"I'm stressed with everything that I wanted. I get done with work, it's a job that I wanted. It grew very fast, and most people might be excited, but I can't keep up. I come home, I sit in the driveway and I don't want to go inside because I know my wife needs my help. Because I have two rambunctious sons".

"When I walk in, I've got to be a different role. I'm feeling stressed and I don't know how to prioritize my energy. It's the life that I wanted, but it's and it's affecting my whole body".

How do we fix this?

In general, we might be thankful. All of us can be thankful because we're alive and breathing. Most of us have some type of job, and families. There should be no reason for you to be stressed, and not be thankful becase it's the life that you've chosen. You just have to learn how to prioritize some things.

I'm intrigued to read the book. If you want me to go through it, I sure will go through it. It's probably a great book for anybody. So I'm going to scroll through the comments. Let me know if you think this would be a good book to go through. If you have a better suggestion, let me know.

The author talked about finding your green zone and the best time of day to get the most out of your day. There was a really good visual I wanted to show you.

"Here's what I want to help people understand, the Thrive circle. Focus time! If you can have focused time, leverage your energy, and realize your priorities, you'll be thriving and you'll be at your best".

So he talked about 3 things that everybody works on...

  • Time

  • Energy

  • Priorities.

𝗜𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝟯 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝗰𝗸, 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘂𝗽.
So we're going to talk about time, energy, and priorities to help you thrive in the environment that you're in. You've chosen this life, you love it, but you still feel stressed.

So that's this book and I think it looks good. I really want to know what you need to be successful because that's also great. It'll also help me find certain things to talk about.
