Keto Peppermint Bark

INGREDIENTS:


For the Dark Chocolate Layer

  1. 1 cup unsweetened dark chocolate chips or chopped dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)

  2. 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  3. For the White Chocolate Layer:

  4. 1 cup sugar-free white chocolate chips

  5. 2 tablespoons coconut oil

For the Peppermint Swirl

  1. 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract

  2. Crushed sugar-free peppermint candies or sugar-free candy canes (optional, for garnish)


INSTRUCTIONS


Prepare a Baking Sheet

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, ensuring it covers the entire sheet.

Melt Dark Chocolate Layer

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil together. Stir until smooth.

Spread Dark Chocolate

  • Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the parchment paper, spreading it evenly with a spatula.

  • Place the sheet in the freezer for about 10-15 minutes to allow it to set.

  • Melt White Chocolate Layer:

  • While the dark chocolate is setting, melt the sugar-free white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl.

  • Stir until smooth.

Add Peppermint Flavor

  • Stir in the peppermint extract into the white chocolate mixture.

Layer White Chocolate

  • Once the dark chocolate layer is set, pour the melted white chocolate over it, spreading it evenly.

Create Peppermint Swirl

  • Use a toothpick or skewer to create a swirl pattern by dragging it through the dark and white chocolate layers.

Garnish (Optional)

  • If desired, sprinkle crushed sugar-free peppermint candies or sugar-free candy canes over the top for added flavor and decoration.

Chill

  • Place the baking sheet back in the freezer for another 15-20 minutes or until the peppermint bark is fully set.

Break Into Pieces

  • Once completely set, remove the peppermint bark from the freezer and break it into pieces.
