INGREDIENTS


For the Shrimp:

  1. 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

  2. 1 tablespoon olive oil

  3. Salt and black pepper to taste

  4. 1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

For the Cocktail Sauce:

  1. 1/2 cup sugar-free ketchup

  2. 1 tablespoon horseradish (adjust to taste)

  3. 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

  4. 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  5. Hot sauce (optional, to taste)

For Garnish:

  1. Fresh lemon wedges

  2. Fresh parsley, chopped


INSTRUCTIONS


Prepare the Shrimp

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

  • Spread the seasoned shrimp on a baking sheet in a single layer.

  • Roast the shrimp in the preheated oven for about 6-8 minutes or until they are opaque and cooked through. Be careful not to overcook.

  • Once cooked, let the shrimp cool, then refrigerate until ready to serve.

Prepare the Cocktail Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix together the sugar-free ketchup, horseradish, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and hot sauce (if using).

  • Adjust the horseradish and hot sauce to your desired level of spiciness.
