	Electrolytes! When your body's in ketosis, you're flushing out your electrolytes. You're flushing out sodium, magnesium, and potassium. There are a couple ways to get electrolytes. You can put some Himalayan salt in some water, we like to use real salt.

Hey, everybody! Welcome back to the Keto Mom page. My name is Stephanie and we're diving into a Keto tip for you. We're going to talk about electrolytes and we are talking about my favorite Mom Fuel (Berry Blue flavor). I'm also going to explain to you about the Keto Kreme. I'll be giving you some tips on where to find some great education and so much more. So as you're tuning in, where are you tuning in from? I hope you're having an incredible day. Welcome to another Keto Tip and Keto Tasting!

I have been cleaning a lot today because my house has been needing some TLC. Anybody else, or is it just me? We've pretty much had people in our home for the last three weeks. We have four daughters, we homeschool and we have four dogs. Our house is crazy, and so I told my girls, "it's practical life school today. You better get your sleeves rolled up because this house needs to feel loved". Let me tell you, it has gotten some love so it's been great...


Anyway, how was your day? I want to know for real... I'm going to talk about electrolytes in a second but I have a riddle for you. And if you haven't noticed, I've been making reels on Instagram. I may call myself old but I say I'm young, wild, and vivacious. If you realize the power of your words, you'll say happy words over yourself. But all of these amazing people on social media are doing these things called reels and TikToks, and I am late to the boat. Although I sometimes make them, I decided that if I'm going to make a reel or a TikTok, it's going to be funny. I'm going to make people laugh because people don't have enough joy in their life. Let me tell you, I have been making some pretty funny reels so go watch them. I actually cracked myself up. My goal is to make you laugh and think, or to do both...

It's incredible and a must-read book. It's really great and we'll go through it in January. But here is the funny riddle for you,


"There are five frogs sitting on a log, four decide to jump, how many are left?". I'll give you a moment to think about it... And the answer is, there are still five frogs on the log. 

Do you want to know why? Just because you decided, doesn't mean it's an action. Deciding is not the action step. We can take in things, we can learn them, we can watch people, we can read and you can decide. Like, "I'm going to decide tomorrow that I'm going to get up thirty minutes earlier so that I can get more things done in the morning"... But that's not the action, not really true. So he says, "Why? Because there is a difference between deciding and doing"... Here on the page, I will give you all the things that you need but you have to do it. You have to do the work...

You need Himalayan salts, or Real Salts

This book (The 15 Invaluable Laws of Growth by John Maxwell) is super great, and we're going to be going through it by January. You can get it at any bookstore, you can go grab it... All right! Here's the tip of the day, as I'm shaking up my ketones or my Mom Fuel. I've been drinking it for six and a half years, and it's a tool in my tool belt. It puts you in ketosis in under an hour. I'm shaking one of my very favorite flavors, Berry Blue. It's a powder, you put it in some water, you shake it up, you drink it, and in under an hour, you're in ketosis.


It's incredible! It's the only naturally fermented ketone in the market. It matches what your body creates, it does not stop your body from making ketones but it will amplify what you're doing. When you drink this, you're going to feel incredible and you're going to have amazing energy. Which I joke and say that I haven't taken a nap in over five or six years. The appetite control is incredible, fat loss, focus, and all of those things. Then you also work on your food. If you want to know more, post "Five" in the comments and we will chat. Alright! When you're in ketosis, whether your body's making ketones, you're drinking them, or both. Did you know that your body's actually flushing out electrolytes? How many of you have ever done keto or low carb, and maybe you've had cramps in your legs or just cramps? I've gotten this question so much this week that I have to answer it here. Most of you are telling me, "Oh, my goodness! My legs are cramping, my toes are cramping. I have a headache and I just feel off. I'm doing keto"... My first question would be, "How much water are you drinking?".

If you're not drinking enough water, you're going to be dehydrated. You're going to feel lightheaded. You're going to get cramps in your legs. Number two, Electrolytes! When your body's in ketosis, you're flushing out your electrolytes. You're flushing out sodium, magnesium, and potassium...

There are a couple of ways to get electrolytes. You can put some Himalayan salt in some water, we like to use real salt. You can't put table salt but you want some good salt. So Himalayan salt, Real salt, or you can get yourself an electrolyte. Our company also has electrolytes, called the MITO//PLEX. These are flavored, I put them in my water, it puts electrolytes in my system and it tastes good. You can also use pickle juice.


There are times when I'm traveling and it's my fault because I'm super busy. I'm not aware of the water that I'm drinking. And if I don't drink enough water or don't drink electrolytes, I will get cramps in the middle of the night. I'll get up and I'm usually in hotel rooms when we travel a lot. I'd be bawling because my legs are cramping so bad. I'd take a salt shaker, fill my hand with salt and lick the salt off my hand until my cramps are gone, and It works. At times we have pickle juice in a container, and I'd guzzle it down...

Just stay on top of it, and drink about half your body weight in ounces of water. That is the goal to hit. Are you going to always hit it? Probably not. Some might say, "I don't like to drink that much water" Well, suck it up buttercup! Drink your water, and your goal should be half your body weight in ounces of water.

If you get close to that, then that's awesome! You're probably doing better than you were in the past. And if you feel cramps or a slight headache, just grab some electrolytes. If you're doing the keto diet and drinking ketones, it will help you, I promise. In just thirty minutes, you would feel, "Yes, I clearly needed that", "My body is telling me I'm thirsty", "I need some sodium, magnesium, potassium, could you please help me"... The Ketogenic Bible is a good tool for you

The last thing I was going to share, sometime next year, I don't know exactly when but I hope it's at the beginning of the year. Our company's going to eventually do an event called the "Keto Academy". It's most likely going to be a virtual event, and it'll probably be in the evening. It's three nights and it's going to be a couple of hours where you can tune in and learn about ketones from science and doctors. It's going to be pretty incredible. I often get asked, where do I learn from and what is the best resource?. You can actually go to PubMed online and you just type in "Ketones"...

The Ketogenic Bible is also an incredible resource as well. This book is written by the same formulators of this product, the Keto NAT. They talk a lot about medical questions in here so if you have specific questions on how Keto affects lots of different things, it's all in here.

It's an incredible and informative book. Get it for yourself as a gift, or get it for somebody else. If you want to learn more and see some science about my product, you can download a free app called PRUVIT TV. It's a free app for everybody, and you can watch some incredible videos there... Anyway, if you think you might be interested in the event coming up, sometimes at the beginning of the year, called Keto Academy. I don't know how much the ticket will be, but it'll probably be pretty cheap. That way you can watch and learn some new information for three nights. It's just a couple of hours in the evenings. Just because you decided to do something, doesn't mean you did it or you're doing it.
