Loaded Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes
Loaded Cauliflower Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
  1. 1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets

  2. 4 cloves garlic, minced

  3. 2 tablespoons butter

  4. 1/4 cup sour cream

  5. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

  6. 3 green onions, sliced

  7. 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled

  8. Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:


Steam the Cauliflower

  • Place cauliflower florets in a steamer basket over boiling water.

  • Steam for 10-12 minutes or until cauliflower is tender.


Mash the Cauliflower

  • Transfer the steamed cauliflower to a large bowl.

  • Use a potato masher or hand blender to mash the cauliflower until it reaches your desired consistency.

Add Flavor

  • Mix in minced garlic, butter, and sour cream.

  • Continue mashing until well combined.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.


Load it Up

  • Fold in shredded cheddar cheese, sliced green onions, and crumbled bacon.

  • Reserve a portion of the cheese, green onions, and bacon for topping.


Serve

  • Transfer the loaded cauliflower mashed potatoes to a serving dish.

  • Garnish with the reserved cheese, green onions, and bacon.
