The Wealth Money Can't Buy

We're diving into "The Wealth Money Can't Buy" by Robin Sharma. The book takes a truly holistic approach to success. By focusing on areas that bring joy, peace, and fulfillment, it emphasizes that real wealth is measured by inner qualities—like resilience, love, and a sense of purpose. Encouraging forgiveness and love, while seeing challenges as opportunities, can reshape how we navigate life, especially during tough times.

I have been praying about a lot of different things for our family, and for me personally. I've been praying for clarity on which directions to go. And last night, I felt the Lord say, it's time.

I've actually been piecing together a project that I've talked about for years. I've started it and stopped it, and started it again because I've been struggling so hard with trying to force this project to make it look like something that wasn't coming natural to me. But I know I can do it differently and it'll be fine.

Become A Yes Person!

There are a lot of books that talk about the power of saying no. Depending on what the season of life you're in, there are some books that will tell you, "You don't have to do everything for everybody", or "Choose your best Yes".

I agree with all of that, and some of you might not be in a "Yes" season because you've already got a lot on your plate. Or you've already said "Yes" to a lot of things, and that's totally okay.

The author talked about a young man that he met and his dad said yes to everything. Every time somebody asked him to do something, his dad said yes.

"Our tiny planet going through such turmoil needs more of this kind of person. People with the wisdom to put down their devices and inhibit the wonders of the present moment. Individuals who really do understand that the illusion of safety is also more dangerous than the discomfort of growth".

I think often times we don't say yes to things, or the reason why we don't become a yes person is because we're afraid. Afraid of what other people are going to think. Just like joining the gym or getting an accountability partner, because what if I fail? We don't say yes to things because we're afraid of being uncomfortable.

Fear of judgment can keep us from saying yes to new opportunities or even expressing who we are. The desire to avoid criticism or disappointing others often stops us from fully embracing life and exploring new possibilities.

When we let go of that fear, though, we open ourselves up to experiences that build confidence, resilience, and joy, regardless of what anyone else might think. This is for one of you who are listening that is not saying yes to something in your life because you're afraid of the discomfort.

"Individuals who really do understand that the illusion of safety i always more dangerous than the discomfort of growth".

The comfort zone can feel safe, but staying there limits growth and keeps us from reaching our true potential. Real safety, ironically, comes from stepping into the unknown and embracing the discomfort that comes with growth. It’s in facing challenges and pushing boundaries that we become stronger and more resilient, creating a true sense of security that isn’t dependent on external circumstances.

Growth is uncomfortable, but it's so incredible when you start it and then you walk through it.

"I think one of the most powerful words in the world is yes. To increase the first form of wealth, I enthusiastically encourage you to say yes to the risky new project that will push your growth. To say yes to the trip that you've been postponing for years".

"To say yes to giving the speech that spooks the daylights out of you, and the new relationship that stretches you emotionally, and the book that seems so hard to read that you don't want to read it, yet you know you must as it carries the wisdom of your strongest self most wishes you to be".

It's time to say yes to that new thing that is going to bring you un-comfortability and discomfort. It's what's going to bring you to the next level in order to reach your goal that you want to achieve. In order to live your life, achieve that dream, or go to that next space, it requires a "Yes".

Saying "yes" to discomfort is saying "yes" to growth, transformation, and new possibilities. It’s often that leap into something uncertain or challenging that ultimately bridges where you are and where you want to be.

By choosing to embrace the uncomfortable, you’re opening yourself up to growth, achievement, and living out your purpose fully for you to become the best version of you.
