The Wealth Money Can't Buy

We're diving into "The Wealth Money Can't Buy" by Robin Sharma. This book’s focus on enriching life through values, connections, and personal growth rather than just material wealth offers insights that can really shape how we live and view success.

I want to help you understand that your mindset is important. Your mindset can be foundational to achieving any goal. It influences how we respond to challenges, whether we approach things with optimism, and how resilient we are through the ups and downs.

A strong mindset creates a stable foundation, giving us the resilience and focus we need to turn our goals into reality.

HEALTH is WEALTH!

We're diving into wellness, which is what you're here for. You clicked on my KetoMom page to lose weight, gain muscle, and feel better.

"Health is a type of wealth. If you don't feel good physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually, all the money, possessions and fame in the world mean nothing. You lose your wellness and I promise you that you'll spend the rest of your life trying to get it back".

"In one wisdom tradition it is spoken, when we are young we are willing to sacrifice all of the health for the pursuit of wealth. And once we are old, we become willing to sacrifice all of our wealth for every day of good health".

It speaks to how easily we can lose sight of what's truly valuable in life, prioritizing immediate gains over long-term well-being.

It highlights the wisdom of balance and that true wealth lies not only in material success but in nurturing our health and inner peace, so that we can enjoy the fruits of our efforts fully and for as long as possible.

If you know that health is wealth, what are you doing to stay healthy or become the healthiest version of yourself?

It's not just physical health, but this includes your mental health.

  • Are you calming your mind?

  • Are you reading or listening to a podcast?

  • Do you get up daily with an attitude of gratitude?

  • Are you owning your morning?

  • Are you moving your body?

  • Are you surrounding yourself with friendships that bring you joy?

All these things are a part of wealth health. True wealth encompasses physical health, mental resilience, emotional stability, spiritual growth, and fulfilling relationships. When we focus on all these aspects, we build a life that’s rich in joy, purpose, and longevity.

Financial success alone can feel hollow without the health and well-being to enjoy it. Prioritizing a balanced approach is what truly sustains us.

"To lead your richest life, you also need to nourish the health of your mind, guard your wellness of your emotional health, and regularly and carefully feed your spiritual life".

So today, understand that health is wealth. If you get sick, can't move, and your body hurts, it's not serving anybody. When we’re unwell, it limits our ability to show up for ourselves and others. Good health enables us to fully engage in life, support the people we love, pursue our goals, and contribute to our communities. Investing in our well-being is not selfish—it’s a foundation for being able to give our best to the world around us.

We live in an age where we have access to learn about anything and find a lot of holistic ways to help heal our body. You can do a bit of research, ask questions, go around and ask some people that you know about health.

STORY TIME

I'm 41 and a lot of the conversations right now in my circle of friends is about pre-menopause or menopause in women. I truly feel that there's not enough research going on about women's health. Whether it's about young girls getting their periods too young or just about hormones.

It's almost 2025 and we're still using some of the same stuff that they had back in the 70s or 60s. I feel like women's health need to become more of a priority to help women go through the stages of life.

I'm not there yet, but I'm watching some of these women and it's like wiping them out. Our health is important, and there are a lot of things that we can do to stay healthy, get healthier, and feel better. It might be going for a walk and getting some fresh air. Some say the sun is bad for you, but research shows that it's actually really good to sit in the sun for a certain period of time.

Going out into nature can be healing and calming to your soul, like putting your feet in the grass or listening to the ocean. You can also drink more water, eating good food, laughing real hard with your family. These are things that are good for your soul.

These simple, grounding experiences can rejuvenate us on a deeper level. Nature has a unique way of quieting our minds and reminding us of the beauty in simplicity. These small acts can create a profound sense of well-being and balance in our lives.
