 	Here are a couple of options to help you. Number one, always have a water bottle with you and drink only water. Number two, intermittent fasting. Number three, choose "Either", "Or" options. And Number four is, watch your fluids, drink more water, less sugar, and then you can enjoy yourself on the food.

Hey everybody! Welcome to the three o'clock tasting and a Keto tip. I think it's almost four o'clock, it's a bit late. All right! We have got stuff to talk about, Ketones as always and how are we going to get through the holidays? A couple of Keto tips, or just some tips for you in general. As you're tuning in, where are you tuning in from? We did draw a name, Congratulations Cari Holley! I'll write the name down, so I can show you. You won Mom Fuel, I need your address so I can get this in the mail to you... Okay! I'd love to know how is your holiday shopping going? Holiday, Christmas, Thanksgiving, or whatever you want to call it, everybody's different.

I'm almost done, but we're going to go Black Friday shopping because we're going to go on a date. It's going to be so fun, although I really don't need anything. I think I pretty much have everything, but just in case I might find something that we need, so I have to go... Here's the question of the day, I'm going to shake up my Mom Fuel first.

You can do either an ampule, most of the time I'm shaking up these powder packs. But for whatever reason in the afternoon, I love the ampule one. They're one and the same, they do the same thing. But one is a powder, and the other one is a liquid.

You put it in water, shake it up, drink it, and it puts you in ketosis in under an hour. What that means is you have ketones in your system. Your body can make ketones, and you can drink them. I've been drinking them for six years, every single day... I have people that say, "Alright Stephanie, are you for real?", "Do these actually work?". Yes! They do work, I've been drinking them for a long time. And if I don't like something, I'm going to tell you it's terrible. If I like something, I'm going to tell everybody how amazing it is. That's just how I am... So if I didn't like something, I wouldn't drink it, nor would I have you drink it or tell you to drink it.


It's super helpful, it's a tool. You put the packet in water, however, you want to do it. Powder or liquid, I actually drink both of them. You drink it and you've got an energy source. Okay, here is a couple of basic Q&A about ketones, and I'm going to talk about the holidays. Also, I really want to know if people go Black Friday shopping in stores or online. Do you prefer to shop in a store or online? I normally like to shop online, but I just have this inkling that I need to go shop at the store. That's not like me, by the way, it's weird.

Okay, going back, so you take this packet, you put it in water and you drink it. It comes in caffeine or caffeine-free. The reason why there's caffeine in Ketones is that it helps with the uptake of ketones in your body. Your body isn't making these ketones, but when you're on a keto diet for a certain period of time your body will make ketones.

That means it's using your stored fat as fuel, and it's making a ketone body. Your body can actually run off of ketones or glucose. It uses it for brain fuel, for focus, energy, appetite control, it helps with clear skin, it helps with so many things. You'll feel incredible. This packet is for drinking. It's the only naturally fermented ketone. You don't have to be doing a strict keto diet. I have people that are keto, low carb, vegan, whole 30, or are just eating healthier the best way they can. A couple of tips for you, Only drink water during the dinners

Hopefully, you can win, so that is that... All right! We're ready for the holiday conversation because let's be real, there are a lot of desserts flying around already. I don't even work anywhere, people just bring them to my home. Here's the question I have for you, "Are you staying pretty strict?"... Whatever your strict is, I'm not even saying strict keto?

Are you trying to still focus on your goals throughout the holidays? If you are, then here are a couple of options to help you. Number one, always have a water bottle with you and drink only water.

If you want to still enjoy yourself, but you want to eat some pie. Or maybe there are certain things that you want, like my grandma or my mom always makes this one dish. I want you to pre-think your options, and I've already done this. I'm going to tell you something really funny, I've actually already pre-thought all the meals that we're going to have, and the places that we're going to be. I've already decided on the one or two things I'm going to eat on that day. Because in my head, I don't drink anything besides water and ketones. Sometimes I'll drink a protein shake with some almond milk, unsweetened, but usually, it's just water and ketones...


If you're a pop drinker, juice drinker, or a coffee with a ton of sugar drinker, why don't you just decide to do an "Either", or "Or". You can drink water that day, enjoy yourself, and have other stuff instead. When you're going to all of these parties, maybe it's in the employee lounge, or whatever the case may be. I always say do an "Either", or "Or" option. If you're trying to still eat better, you don't want to just binge and throw it out the window, you still want to eat well, but you want to enjoy yourself.

You can choose Either, Or when picking dishes
You can do an "Either", "Or" option, like potatoes or bread? I would choose mashed potatoes, I wouldn't choose both. You can choose pumpkin pie or pecan pie? If I wanted a piece of pie, I would choose one, and not both. I'll give you a personal example. I actually haven't had any sugary treats that are not low carb or keto. I'm not a really big dessert person, I don't love to eat sugar.

But purposely, I have not had anything in a very long time. Why? Because I told myself when Thanksgiving comes and my sister-in-law comes to my house, she actually makes the one kind of dessert that I love, once a year I'm going to eat it. I've already told myself in my head, and I might actually feel like garbage because last year I did the same thing. I did not feel good after I ate too many of those desserts. My sister-in-law makes these little Special K-bars, but nobody can make them as she can... So I already told myself I'm going to eat them, and I'm going to enjoy myself. That is the one treat I'm going to eat, I don't care about the pie, or anything else. I will have her K-bar, and I'm going to enjoy it. With that, here are some things I wrote down... Don't be snacking and eating all of the Halloween candies up until Thanksgiving. You don't need to eat all of the snacks every single day, just because it's the season. But you can do that only on that day when you're with your family and it's a special event.

I don't keep the treats in my home, there are no holiday cookies in our kitchen. I know it's so mean but we don't do Christmas baking. If we do it, we go to my mom's house or my sister's house, and the treats don't come home with us. We have them at other people's houses instead. I know, you might think I'm a bad mom, but it is what it is. I do care and I do love my children, but we're just not going to do the holiday baking in our house because I don't like it to be in our home...

Anyways, we'll do some keto baking. Okay! The first one was, you don't need to be eating up until the next holiday. It's on Christmas Day, and all the way till January first. Obviously, you might feel terrible, "I wrecked the last sixty days, please help me"... One day, two days, or a couple of days here and there, is completely different than all the way up until January first. Just be mindful, that's number one.

Number two, intermittent fasting is super. If we're going to have a big meal, or in our case, we're having two family meals. One will be over at my side of the family on the 24th, and we will be with my husband's side on the 25th. We're doing mainly dinners, and I honestly will probably fast all the way up until those meals. I'll drink ketones, water, and I'll just do a longer fast until we have supper. It's super helpful, I won't feel like I'm stuffed, and I'll be able to enjoy myself a little bit more.

Number three, choose "Either", "Or" options. If you're an "Either", "Or" person and you don't want to binge, you can do this or this, this or this, as you dish up your plate. Number four is, watch your fluids, drink more water, less sugar, and then you can enjoy yourself on the food... I'm just trying to give you a couple of different options to enjoy and not feel like you're so rigid, but also to not binge so much you might get sick...

Dish up smaller portions, and be aware of what you're eating

I don't know, if like me, you've been eating a certain way for so long that you know you can't certain foods, or you'll feel like garbage. Like, next time I need to remind myself so I don't eat that. I told you a couple of days ago, I ate too much dairy and I felt like garbage afterward. I actually haven't been eating, even these last couple of days. I have to eat super light because my stomach was torn up.

Anyways, my Keto tip is simply this. I'm not expecting anybody, even myself, to be perfect. I think I labeled this live video as, "Let's talk about the holidays with grace and poise". Don't beat yourself up, one day at a time, and one party at a time. Choose the best options, don't beat yourself up if you enjoyed that K-bar, because I'm going to... I think that's it, just be mindful. My biggest thing is not overeating.

So if I want to have a few certain things, I just dish up a smaller helping. I do love to have a couple of those things, but I also hate being stuffed and I hate feeling like I'm going to puke... In everything that we talked about on this page, my biggest thing is "Awareness". If you can just have an awareness of your body, and the choices that you're making. If you can be mindful, and not just eat out of emotions, then you'll make good decisions.


You'll choose wisely because you're having more awareness. All of this should help you go, "I'll have just a little bit of this", "I'm going to choose either or, or", "I'm actually not hungry, no thanks", "I'm actually going to have water because I know I'm going to have something this evening", or "I think I can do a longer fast throughout the day, so I can really enjoy my dinner tonight with our family"... It's all an awareness of how you're feeling and the choices that you're making. So with that, I don't know if that was helpful for you, sometimes I'm just coaching myself along. I'm going to go drink my ketones a little bit later in the day. We have a family staying with us for a little bit, so it's been fun and it's great. We've got ten kids in the house, and it's really fun...
